
2009年博士毕业于中国科学院计算技术研究所,2011年于清华大学自动化系博士后出站,2011-2013年于北京数码视讯战略研究院任首席科学家,2013年起在华中科技大学开展工作,2018年当选IET Fellow,是IEEE/SPIE Senior Member。主要从事以视觉感知与计算为核心的计算机视觉、计算光场科学研究及其在灾害态势感知、交互式媒体系统、医学影像系统等方面的应用研究工作,主持和参与国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、中国科协智库、湖北省重点研发计划、湖北省体育局、武汉市卫健委、企业重点科技攻关等项目30余项。在国内外重要的期刊、会议上发表学术论文140篇,获中美发明专利授权45项,国际PCT专利7项。获教育部技术发明一等奖、教育部科技进步二等奖、云南省科技进步二等奖、CSIG技术发明二等奖、机械工业科技进步二等奖、中国电影电视技术学会科技进步二等奖各1项,国际学会奖3项,指导学生获中国国际大学生创新创业(原“互联网+”)竞赛全国金奖、挑战杯主赛道全国金奖各1项,获全国卓越工程师培养改革优秀案例、CSIG高等教育激励计划二等奖1项。是中国图象图形学学会“科普优秀工作者”(2023),华中科技大学优秀研究生导师(2024),2015、2022年两次获联合国UNITAR与中国商务部CIFAL“杰出贡献”表彰,2018、2024年分获伊拉克驻华大使馆奖杯、表彰函,2022、2023年两次获牛津大学表彰函。现任CSIG图象视频处理与通信专委会秘书长、科普工委委员、湖北省科普教育基地主任、中国图象图形学学会电子信息“一带一路”科普教育基地主任、中国科协“应急态势感知与应急通信技术”决策咨询专家团队首席科学家、武汉医学影像技术研究会第五届理事会副理事长、湖北省研究生工作站主任、长三角智能安防协同创新中心专家委员会委员、河北省专网通信技术协同创新中心技术指导委员会委员、国家高端智能化家用电器创新中心核心芯片技术分委会委员、华中科技大学研究生教学工作委员会委员、视联网山东省工程中心副主任等;是全国创新争先奖评委、IET全球创新奖董事会成员;是国际期刊Optics Continuum (2023-)、Journal of Electronic Imaging (2021-)、IEEE Access(2018-2024)、IET Image Processing(2018-)、PLoS ONE(2015-2022)的Associate Editor,是Neurocomputing(2014-2016)、Multimedia Tools and Applications(2023-2024)、Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation(2024-2025)期刊的客座编委,国际会议CCIG 2025、NCIG 2020、MMSP2023、ICIMCS 2013/ 2014、MMM 2014/2020、ICME 2014、CVRS2015、VCIP2016/2020、ICASSP2024/2019、MMSP 2023专题论坛主席、ICIMCS 2016执委会委员、2024第三届世界元宇宙大会执行主席。

华中科技大学研究生院成立于1984年,是全国首批研究生院之一。我校从1961年开始招收研究生,现有在校全日制研究生17000余人。我校首批获准在博士学位授权一级学科范围内自主设置二级学科专业,首批获准自主确定硕士研究生入学考试复试分数线,是我国全面实施《中华人民共和国学位条例》、造就高层次专门人才的研究生培养基地之一。
华中科技大学坚持“育人为本,创新是魂,责任以行”的办学理念,促进人文教育与科学教育相融合,促进学研产协调发展,培养具有国际竞争力的创新人才。在研究生教育上,根据“创新是灵魂,科学研究主导是核心,导师负责制是基础”的指导思想,不断提高培养质量,产生更多的创新成果。
研究生院注重研究生教育与科学研究紧密结合,课程学习与学位论文研究并重,学校教育与社会实践相结合,校企合作培养,国内外联合培养,学年制与学分制相结合的弹性学制等办学思路和形式,有力地促进了我校研究生教育的发展。
研究生院始终将研究生培养质量放在工作的首位,采取了一系列的措施提高质量。实施与健全导师负责制,配备研究生政治辅导员,实行奖学金、助学金制度,设立研究生“三助”岗位,实行研究生中期考核,进行博士导师遴选和副导师预备队伍建设,资助和扶持导师编写、出版专著和研究生教学用书,推进研究生培养基地建设等,研究生教育质量得到了广泛肯定,在全国高校中具有重要影响力。
丰富多彩的研究生活动,是我校研究生教育的一大特色。“科学精神与实践讲座”、“博士论坛”、 “学术沙龙”、“企业论坛”、“科技十佳”评比、研究生运动会、“十大歌手赛”等课外科技、文化、体育活动,极大地丰富了研究生的生活,开阔了眼界。研究生社会实践活动和研究生社团活动使研究生增长了才干,提高了适应性,增强了社会责任感。研究生会设立了研究生科技创新基金,建立了专业性科技创新基地,开展学术年会、学术讲座和研究生科技创新活动,培养研究生的创新意识、实践能力和创业精神。
我校始终重视研究生院的建设,不断强化服务与管理职能。本着“育人为本”和“以学生为本”的办学理念,致力于建设“招生—培养—就业”一条龙的服务体系,为研究生提供全方位的优质服务。
