Personal Profile
华中科技大学电子信息与通信学院教授(2016年起),博士生导师,国家防伪工程技术研究中心安全实验室主任。2006年毕业于中国科学技术大学电子工程与信息科学系,获得博士学位。1999年毕业于武汉大学电信学院,获得学士学位。目前的主要研究方向是人工智能与信息安全,具体包括软件安全、流量分析、AI安全和大模型应用等。以第一/通信作者身份在UsenixSec., NDSS, INFOCOM, ICSE, WWW, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, 电子学报, 软件学报等CCF A类学术会议和高水平期刊上发表30多篇论文。主持完成了国家自然科学基金、863和国家科技支撑计划等国家级项目课题和多个企业合作项目。曾受邀访问加拿大卡尔加里大学、微软亚洲研究院、香港中文大学和香港理工大学。指导研究生获得中国研究生机器人创新设计大赛全国一等奖,指导的博士生入选京东顶尖青年技术天才计划。
袁巍教授是国家防伪工程技术研究中心和数据科学与计算机视觉实验室(http://bmal.hust.edu.cn)的骨干教师。中心目前有两名教授和三名副教授。袁巍教授从事人工智能与信息安全相关研究,独立招收硕士博士生,有意者请直接联系袁巍教授(yuanwei[at]mail.hust.edu.cn)

目前,袁巍教授实验室有在读硕士和博士研究生近20名,博士后1名。实验室主要科研方向是人工智能和信息安全。实验室科研和学习氛围良好,师生关系融洽,毕业生找工作理想。实验室长期招收博士生、硕士生、本科实习生和博士后,欢迎热爱科研,勤奋刻苦,基础良好的同学报名,有意者请直接发邮件给袁巍教授yuanwei@mail.hust.edu.cn。
1. 硕士研究生主要培养方向包括(但不限于):AI与大模型应用、网络安全和软件安全等。硕士生在承担科研项目的同时,还可参与高水平学术论文的撰写工作,为完成硕士毕业论文积累经验和素材。实验室硕士生曾获得国家奖学金、华为奖学金、数马电子奖学金等多个奖学金,曾以第一作者身份在CCF A类会议(如NDSS和ACM MM)和中科院一区期刊上发表论文。近年来,硕士生毕业后主要在阿里、腾讯、华为、国家电网等企业工作,找工作offer年薪高达60w。
2. 博士研究生主要培养方向包括(但不限于):软件安全,流量分析和大模型应用等。博士生以发表CCF A类会议和期刊(如软件工程领域和安全领域)论文为目标,也会通过参与科研项目提高自身科研能力。目前,实验室多名博士生在CCF A类会议(如安全顶会USENIX Security/NDSS、互联网顶会WWW、软件工程顶会ICSE/ISSTA和通信网络顶会INFOCOM)和CCF A类期刊(如IEEE TIFS和软件学报)上发表过论文。实验室博士生曾获得学校三好研究生标兵(全校共20名)、华为奖学金(全院共5名)和电信学院学术新星(全院共3名)等荣誉,多次获批华中科技大学创新研究院技术创新基金项目。近年来,博士生毕业后主要在高校和企业工作,1人入选京东顶尖青年技术天才计划。实验室博士生找工作offer年薪最高超过130w。
3. 本科实习生主要参与理论研究或科研项目,实验室会安排高年级学长进行一对一的技术指导,帮助实习生快速成长。实验室实习生曾2次以第一作者身份发表中科院一区期刊论文,1次以第一作者身份发表CCF A类会议论文。不少优秀的本科实习生选择留在实验室继续攻读硕士或博士学位,实验室也曾多次推荐优秀本科实习生赴海外高校继续深造。
